It doesn’t cost much to make a difference

The poor economic situation in Nicaragua has created an amazing opportunity for those of us in economically privileged nations to make a significant contribution without breaking the bank. For example:

• $3 = the daily wage paid for construction labor
• $140 = the approximate monthly salary
• for employees in the educational community center
• $15,000 = the cost to build a new classroom for a school (including labor and all materials)
• $25,000 = the estimated cost to purchase land for a new educational community center (art center, children’s learning area, library, music and dance programs, technology center, and museum)

We are able to do projects in Nicaragua as a result of your generous donations. All money received will go directly to developing educational programs in San Juan de Oriente, as all staff members serve on a volunteer basis. LA VIDA Education is a 501(c)(3) US nonprofit organization, which means that your contributions are tax deductible.
