What drew you to LA VIDA?

I am passionate about building relationships with people around the
world, especially building partnerships where people from different
backgrounds can work together in finding solutions to social problems
that affect the vulnerable and underprivileged in our world. I am impressed by LA VIDA's value for community collaboration in tackling issues like education. I want to be a bridge person in connecting resources in the U.S. with needs throughout Latin America.

Educational Background?

B.A. in History and Cultural Anthropology from U.C. Santa Cruz and currently enrolled in M.B.A. program at Santa Clara University.

What makes you laugh?

Doug, an old housemate of mine, used to tell me stories of how he would play practical jokes on his co-workers. One time at church, he kept making me laugh during the priest's sermon. He would light fire-crackers and throw them at me while I was taking time to pray and reflect.
